Honestly I'd be worried too if my girlfriend had gone on holiday with her ex. And as a girl, I would also be worried because I know how confusing it can be and how easy it is to make the wrong decision under those circumstances. Still, got to give her the benefit of the doubt until she doesn't deserve it - maybe she will be decisive when it matters.

Ha, my Mum also talks about a lot of insignificant things when I phone, usually about what's on TV that I can't see anyway, about people at work and I have no idea who they are. And yeah, your Mum probably does do it because she doesn't have someone to talk to so just the chance to talk to someone is probably good for her.

That was always my favourite time of year, trying to figure out what classes would interest you for another semester, and then finally getting to go and doing no work, just finding out what you'll be learning and buying new books. First week rocks! And good luck with your graduation application. I'm sure you'll do better than you expected.

2) Ok, the secret is that there is no second level of the lava caves. They take you to the ´second level´and make you look into a chasm and guess how long it will take a stone to hit the bottom. The secret is that the ´chasm´is actually a pond and all the height you see is actually a reflection of the cave ceiling. It doesn´t sound like much but the pond is so still that it really does fool you!
3) From a guy´s perspective then, if you´re ´just a bit of fun´ the guy treats you different from his other ´bits of fun´then does that mean you´re more special or is he just trying to charm you to keep you on side after an argument?

Omg.. Lol.. I had to with with the exact same apparatus during analytical chem 1 and 2 so if you have any questions go right ahead because the HPLC, GC, flurometer, etc etc drove me crazy at first as well. And especially C NMC and H NMR and IR.. I've made and analysed over 15 samples in the past 2 weeks so it's all unfortunately very much fresh. Actually NMR rocks it just sucks if your rxn doesn't actually work because the NMR shows that pretty damn well.

Oh, and 300 for a bike???? Ridiculous!!! (It would even be cheaper for me to get you one off a drug dealer here for 30 and ship it over.)

She can say all she wants, and she will most definitely know what to do and say that will get to you and get a reaction out of you, but she is nowhere near getting over you. You, on the other hand, can close that chapter and move on. Het bitterness makes that easier for you to do and that's a good thing. Better things lie ahead. (And in a few years' or maybe months' time you can still probably be friends if you'd both like to, after all this is done with and forgotten.)
